Making his first appearance on Mule Musiq, Saint Petersburg native and current Dubai resident Kito Jempere delivers a four-track EP that feels both meticulously crafted and instinctively free-flowing. It’s a release that moves confidently between vibrant club energy and moments of subtle introspection, showcasing a producer with a refined sense of mood and movement.

The opening track wastes no time in setting the pace: a bouncy, breakbeat-infused house cut that pairs spoken-word fragments with an uplifting, almost cinematic piano riff. It’s a track designed for peak-time elation—rhythmic, radiant, and instantly memorable.

From there, “Infinite Azure” offers a deep house groove rich with jazzy harmonies and a warm, late-night feel. It channels the timeless spirit of late-’90s Guidance records, where the line between soulful and hypnotic was always perfectly blurred.

“Mid 0000s” takes the listener into more experimental territory. With a minimal, textural framework and hints of melodic abstraction, it recalls Isolée’s knack for blending precision with personality. Every sound feels carefully placed, yet the track maintains a fluid, organic energy.

Closing with “Teaser”, Jempere strips things down to their emotional core. Melancholic piano lines drift over soft, atmospheric layers, accompanied by tender, distant vocals—a soundtrack for the final moments of the night when the dancefloor empties but the memory lingers.

In just four tracks, Kito Jempere delivers a debut Mule Musiq release that is both dynamic and deeply human. It’s music for dancing, yes, but also for feeling—proof that the most enduring house records are those that connect beyond the beat.
