KEY4050 presents STAY IN YOUR LANE

Oct 11... Buenos Aires .. Electronic music quartermasters Bryan Kearney and John O’Callaghan play five of their artistic identities out in one night, the finale to which is the one they co-own … Key4050. Having gone nose to grindstone over the summer, whipping their second LP outreach into shape, there may never have been a better time to catch the pair.
If their last LP - the 30-track-strong ‘Tales Of The Temple’ taught us anything, it’s that once the Key4050 flywheel starts, it spins long ... With their Bo Bruce collab ‘Empty Space’ and the firestartin’ ‘Final Memory’ already blazing a path through 2026’s autumn, heck, it’s time for another slayer!
And it goes without saying, you should ‘Stay In Your Lane’ for this one!
What does that “Lane” look like then? Well, if you’re after something from the more gentile, cultured and symphonically composed side of trance, (you’ve probably already guessed that!) you’re in the wrong place. Conversely, if you’re after a hoover-rich, early-90s riffin’ sonic scallywag of a number, with buckets of Picotto-eque squelch ‘n’ tech, breezeblock drums (whatever they look like), highly combustible bass, snare fury and a female vox that couldn’t be more alienated and IDGAF if it tried, well … hit yer hazards and pull right up!‘Stay In Your Lane’ (as if Key4050 ever do!) is out now.
