Third Child, Sleepless Nights and a New Rhythm of Life: Halyna Denysiuk Opens Up About Motherhood

Ukrainian stylist and blogger Halyna Denysiuk became a mother for the third time several months ago. She welcomed a son, Andrii. Her older sons, Maks and Yehor, have warmly embraced their younger brother, while Halyna herself admits that becoming a mother for the third time has once again changed the way she views motherhood.

The first months after her son’s birth have been a period of adapting to a new rhythm of family life. According to the stylist, along with sleepless nights and new responsibilities, her life has also been filled with even more happy moments.

“Now I can’t imagine our family without Andrii. It feels as if he has always been with us,” Halyna Denysiuk said.

She admits that she treasures the simple moments that happen every day: her son’s first smiles, his looks and the moments when he falls asleep in her arms.

“The moments I value most are when he smiles, looks into my eyes or peacefully falls asleep in my arms. That’s when you realize that true happiness is made up of such simple and sincere moments,” the stylist said.

At the same time, the arrival of a third child has also been a new challenge for the family. Halyna has to combine caring for her baby with raising her older children, household responsibilities and work.

According to her, the family has gradually found its balance, while the support of her loved ones helps make this period easier.

Who Does Andrii Look Like?

Several months after his birth, the baby has already changed noticeably. Halyna says that he has become more attentive to the world around him, watches his family members and actively shows his emotions.

His first smiles are especially touching for her.

“He is very calm and gentle, but at the same time curious. I enjoy watching him discover something new every day,” Denysiuk shared.

According to the stylist, Andrii looks most like his older brother Maks at the same age. This is especially noticeable when they look through old family photographs.

“Sometimes it even feels like it is the same child,” she said.

Halyna adds that the boy’s appearance may still change as he grows, so she is curious to see whether he will eventually inherit features from his father or from her.

Older Brothers Help Their Mother

The arrival of their younger brother did not cause jealousy in Maks and Yehor. On the contrary, the boys enjoy spending time with Andrii, talking to him and checking on how he is doing.

“Maks and Yehor love their little brother very much. They enjoy coming up to him, talking to him, smiling at him, playing with him and always asking how he is doing,” the stylist said.

Halyna says she is particularly happy to see such a strong bond developing between her children. She hopes that in the future the brothers will remain close and will always be able to rely on one another.

The most memorable moment for Halyna since Andrii’s birth was his first smile.

“It’s difficult to put into words the emotions you feel at that moment, because it seems as if the whole world stops,” she recalled.

“You Don’t Have to Strive to Be a Perfect Mother”

According to Denysiuk, she has changed as a mother with each child. While she used to worry about every little thing after the birth of her older children, she now approaches many situations much more calmly.

“With each child comes more experience, confidence and inner peace. If I used to worry about every little thing, now I approach many things much more wisely,” she said.

The stylist also emphasizes that after having her third child, she stopped trying to live up to the image of a “perfect mother.”

“I already know that you don’t have to strive to be a perfect mother. What matters is simply being there for your children and giving them love and care,” Denysiuk explained.

At the same time, a mother of three has little time for herself. According to Halyna, even short breaks help her regain her energy.

She considers simple things important — being able to have a cup of tea in silence, spend some time alone or simply get enough sleep. Her husband and loved ones also play an important role by helping whenever they can.

Speaking about the future, Denysiuk says that above all she wants her children to be healthy and happy. She dreams that the brothers will remain close and support one another regardless of circumstances.

“It is very important to me that they always support one another, regardless of their age or circumstances, and know that family is the place where they are always loved and welcomed,” Halyna Denysiuk concluded.
