As she prepares to ignite the dance floors of Spain, SHAĐU radiates the kind of charisma that turns every set into an emotional journey. Known for her signature blend of electronic energy and soulful presence, she opens up about her pre-show rituals, the magic of her team, and why the crowd’s energy is her ultimate inspiration.

You’re heading to Spain soon. How are you feeling about that gig?

I’m incredibly excited. Every day, people message me saying they can’t wait to see me there — and that kind of anticipation fills me with energy before I even step on stage. I don’t just want to give them music — I want to give them moments: emotions they’ll remember, and a connection that goes beyond sound.

What’s the most important element of your sets?

For me, the energy of the crowd is everything. People always come first. I can plan a set, but I never stick to it completely — sometimes a single reaction from the audience changes the whole direction of the night. That’s when the best moments happen — spontaneous, raw, and shared with the people in front of me.

Behind the scenes, who supports you the most?

An artist never exists alone. Everything people see on stage is the result of a united team effort. We work like one body — if even a small part is missing, the system doesn’t function the same. I absolutely adore my team; they’re my backbone, and thanks to them, every show looks and feels exactly how I envision it.

You once recorded a podcast in a rather unusual place…

Yes — in a botanical garden! The blend of music, natural sounds, and the atmosphere was surreal. It felt so different from a club or festival — and that contrast was the beauty of it. That experience inspired me to keep exploring unconventional formats and unexpected spaces for music.

Do you have any personal rituals before a show?

Absolutely. Before every performance, I wear a bracelet that my friend gave me — it’s my talisman. It carries energy, luck, and friendship. Every time I put it on, I feel connected to the people who believe in me. It’s a small ritual, but it centers me and reminds me why I do what I do.

Why do you think people connect with you?

That’s always hard to say from the artist’s perspective. But I think it’s my individuality — my own approach to sound, my original tracks, and maybe my image too. I often hear people say they feel authenticity in what I do. I just stay true to myself — and I think that sincerity is what connects us.

What’s the most unusual fan request you’ve ever received?

Once, a fan told me they wanted to build a monument to me — while I’m still alive! At first, I thought they were joking, but then I realized they were completely serious. It was wild, but also deeply touching. Moments like that remind me how powerful music can be.

What’s one of your biggest dreams?

Performing at Omnia in Las Vegas. It’s one of those legendary places every artist dreams about — not just because of its history, but for its energy. To feel that space and share my sound there would be absolutely surreal.

Describe your ideal pre-show day.

My perfect pre-show day is calm and balanced. I start the morning slowly — a light breakfast, a walk, some stretching to clear my head. During the day, I spend time with my team, do sound checks, and make sure everything’s in harmony. A few hours before the show, I disconnect from everything, put on my lucky bracelet, and fully focus on the energy I want to bring to the crowd.

How do you recharge after late nights and long tours?

After intense shows and travel, I love giving myself a “reset day” — time in the hammam, a hookah session, total relaxation. It’s my little secret ritual to restore both energy and peace before the next adventure. It keeps me centered, positive, and ready to step back into the light.
