REVIEW: Terry Jasinto presents "Sensitive EP"

It has been a unique journey, influenced by a multitude of musical styles, until Terry Jasinto devised his most unique and personal style. With an insatiable appetite, his love for music knows no hierarchy, shape or size.

Now, the Uniting Souls Music label is back with Terry's latest work: "Sensitive EP". Terry's journey in the industry began in the mid-1990s, where his legacy still resonates deeply. He made a decade-long stopover in Miami in the early 2000s, before finally heading to San Diego in 2012. Terry became renowned in the Pacific Northwest for his long residencies at Seattle's infamous late-night parties, such as 'Dance Oasis ' at Habana's, 'Superhighway', 'Usual Suspects' at Contour and at 'Dedicated', Seattle's biggest weekly house music event at the time.

This release spawns a collaboration between Terry and Scarlett Santamaria on vocals, which is a great combination here from Deep & Dirty. His imprint of him closes softly, ethereally and intensely, while transporting us to a dream paradise, where calm rules everything. The emotional imprint left by this precious pictorial imprint is intense and perpetual. It should be emphasized that the level of production is intense but, on the other hand, the care of the sounds they release is in the hands of those who do things because they want and with the time they really need. That's why it's about productions that when you approach carefully, the halo it gives off catches you: rare, singular and, here comes the best, powerful, magnetic and danceable.

Then we hear what Luke Mandala performs with his dreamy remix. He really takes things to a more floaty level and his processing on vocals shines. A slightly more melodic feel makes a great addition to the project.

The EP closes with a "Flipped Alternative Mix" that provides a darker vibe with more sustained elements that is capable of catapulting us into the afterlife.

"Sensitive EP" can and should be heard as a piece of timeless music, which conveys a positive idea in times of conflict, and its aesthetic appeals to the most basic, deep and receptive of the spirit. Terry, in short, designs a wide and fragile sound to listen and feel from the deepest.
