Raas is an electronic music artist whose sound spans from dub-influenced downtempo to high-energy techno, brought to life through dynamic live performances. Each set is uniquely crafted, blending hardware improvisation with refined studio production to create a fully immersive musical experience.

The mind behind Raas, Rutger van der Vliet, began his musical journey in the punk rock scene, performing in squats across the Netherlands. This early passion for raw, live expression led him to study Composition & Music Technology at the School of Arts in Utrecht, where he honed his skills in sound design and experimental composition.

Drawing from influences like punk, synthpop, and psychedelia, Raas delivers performances that are as honest as they are electrifying. His sets move fluidly from dreamlike grooves to raw, textured intensity. With releases on acclaimed labels such as BEK Audio, and support from techno heavyweights like Speedy J, Gary Beck, and Remy, Raas continues to carve out a distinctive space in the electronic music scene.
