The 51beats label returns and does so with the EP: "Fastridebadfinish" produced by 1STR1C3, who continues to dedicate all his creative resources to making his career as a producer a more complex, subtle and profound musical proposal, covering all possible limits.
Since he followed his instinct and began to produce what he really felt he had to do, that is: electronic, downtempo and ambient music, he has not stopped making proposals as interesting as they are unique, which have called into question the hackneyed cliché that it is not producing anything that is out of uniformity in the market.
This EP demonstrates 1STR1C3's particular way of understanding sound, located at the antipodes of the commercial, of the generic, of what works: what it does is, on the contrary, a kind of unstable magma of pulsations and radiances, of melodic sketches and blurred textures, pursuing a calm, spiritual, almost ascetic expression. All those languages and influences from which he was nurtured dialogue on this album, creating new, different and highly evolved sound organisms.
"Fastridebadfinish" is a work full of ambient strings and pads and deep percussions. In the end, together, they end up creating an album where there is a very careful balance between the ambition of their intentions and the greatness of their results, managing to go further, a task that is not easy at all. But the level is up there, and 1STR1C3 can be proud of having initialed and reaffirmed his entry into the history of electronic music.
