French producer MRZ dives deep into the emotional foundations of house music with his latest EP, Right Here, a four-track statement that merges past and present in a seamless dialogue. With an ear for warmth and groove, MRZ builds a sonic bridge between classic house roots and modern underground sensibilities.
The opening track, “What You Do”, captures the essence of this duality: shimmering pads and a liquid 303 bassline intertwine with soulful vocal cuts, evoking intimacy and motion in equal measure. “Break Out” takes the energy higher, fusing breakbeat momentum and piano stabs that recall the golden age of UK rave, yet the production remains distinctly modern and polished. “Don’t Look Back” turns nostalgia into propulsion, layering euphoric breaks and luminous chords in a track that feels both anthemic and sincere. Finally, “Something” closes the circle with a poetic dedication to the dance floor—a dreamy, rolling cut that speaks directly to house lovers everywhere.
Right Here is not a retro exercise but a reinvention—MRZ reimagines the emotional drive of classic house through the lens of today’s underground scene.

MRZ is a DJ and producer who likes to make people dance and smile. His selection inspired by the 90's, varies between house and techno, through soulful house, deep house, garage house, funky house, UK garage, French touch, jungle and acid house. He has already had the opportunity to play in clubs and festivals in France, USA, Japan, the UK, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
