Mettā Atom – Choreomania | Uniting Souls Music

There is a sense of duality at the heart of Mettā Atom’s musical identity: the physical release of the dancefloor and the inward-looking quality of sound as a vehicle for reflection. Choreomania, a 16-track LP for Uniting Souls Music, sits somewhere between those impulses, bringing together a broad electronic vocabulary and a collaborative cast of Hawaii-based vocalists. The project’s underlying ethos echoes the ideas embedded in the artist’s name, where loving-kindness meets the elemental scale of the cosmos. Rather than treating club music as pure escapism, Mettā Atom frames it as a space for collective experience, positive energy and open-ended discovery.

That perspective reflects an artistic philosophy in which rhythm becomes a means of connection, rather than simply a mechanism for keeping people moving. Mettā Atom’s background across different instruments and musical traditions informs a practice that reaches beyond conventional genre distinctions, allowing electronic production to coexist with a more human, expressive sensibility. The involvement of vocalists Kapu, Ky Kalani, Jade Muniz, Jon Elis and Jayden further grounds the record in collaboration. On Choreomania, the dancefloor becomes a meeting point between physical energy, shared intention and the search for something that extends beyond the music itself.
