We are pleased to announce the debut release from our brand-new label, Ceol Crua.
The 'Facing Facts EP' showcases the collaborative talents of veteran producers Paddy Kearns, Sam DFL, and Rich Sortwell, who have united to form the innovative ensemble, 'Matter of Phat'.
This dynamic offering features two tracks: 'Tekno Power' and 'Stay on Top'. Both cuts serve up driving Acid Techno guaranteed to electrify any London squat party, For fans seeking a twist, don't miss the Paddy Kearns remix of 'Tekno Power,' which takes a tribal turn, adding another layer of complexity to this compelling release.
Paddy Kearns has produced & DJ'ed under various names over the last 25 years most notably 'Kernzy & Klemenza', 'Bossgroove' , 'Padraig Ballyer' and has been behind or co-produced many releases in just as many genres. In addition to his impressive body of work as a producer, Paddy heads up Ceol Crua, an initiative through which he is committed to delivering only the highest quality dance music.
Sam DFL is the in-house engineer at the Stay Up Forever studio and has been making electronic music since the mid 90’s. He has released dozens of tracks on many of the Techno scenes most respected labels. and has worked with Chris Liberator, Gizelle, Rats on Acid and many more as well as numerous other non Techno projects.
Rising star Rich Sortwell is proving a name to watch in recent times, already clocking up releases on Stay up Forever Super Limited & Maximum Minimum. Rich has also teemed up with some of the scenes biggest names in Guy McAffer & Stirling Moss for future Ceol Crua releases.
