GOWAX – BLAZE

GOWAX brings raw energy and an intense underground atmosphere with “Blaze”, a track described as a powerful encounter between dark electronics and metal influences. Its concept reflects an uncompromising musical identity, exploring the darker and more aggressive side of electronic music.

Behind the project is GOWAX, a Belgian DJ from Antwerp with an extensive career spanning more than three decades. Starting his DJ journey at just 16, he became involved in Belgium's underground electronic scene, particularly the early Goa trance movement during the 1990s. Throughout his career, he has explored genres such as psytrance, dark disco, EBM, new wave, new beat and techno.

His musical background also includes a strong connection to underground rock and metal, with bands such as Helmet, Urban Dance Squad and No Means No influencing his musical taste. This connection makes “Blaze” a particularly interesting expression of his diverse musical identity.

GOWAX continues to explore the boundaries between electronic experimentation and underground culture, delivering a sound that values intensity, personality and freedom of expression.
