Just as the birthday candles have finished flickering out, Melodize wastes no time getting back to business with its 18th release—a strong statement from label head Beartrax and a pair of top-tier remixers. This milestone EP doesn’t just mark a celebration—it reinforces Melodize’s role in pushing finely-crafted, emotionally resonant electronic music.

Beartrax delivers two original productions, “Opaque” and “Sanctity,” both of which stay rooted in his signature style: lush, melancholic melodies wrapped in hypnotic grooves. “Opaque” stands out with its shimmering violin lines and layered harmonic tension, slowly unfurling like a memory you can’t shake. “Sanctity” follows with a deeper, more introspective energy—its rolling low-end and cinematic textures paint a picture that’s equal parts solemn and sublime.

On remix duty, Massimiliano Pagliara transforms “Opaque” into a punchy, bass-driven version with cosmic synths and nostalgic undertones—perfect for elevating late-night sets into emotional territory. Eliott Litrowski flips “Sanctity” on its head with a darker, edgier rework, injecting indie basslines, electro-funk grit, and a shadowy new wave pulse that feels deliciously warped and strangely danceable.
