INTERVIEW: 9CLAWS + CHINOSYNTH



Mexican producer Jorge Gómez, better known as Chinosynth, is allied this time with his friend from Russia, Azat Khasanov, better known as 9Claws, whom he met as Alexei, alias Velax. With 9Claws – in addition to Velax – Chinosynth’s relative felt a great musical brotherhood, due to his charm for the Dark style that both producers handled.


We have had the pleasure of speaking with both producers, and this has been the result.


Do you remember any album or concert that made you see everything differently?

9CLAWS: On the development of the label Espacio Cielo by Parissior?


Since you got into this professionally, what did you miss nationally, internationally? And what helped you the most to grow, even to believe in yourself?

9CLAWS: Perseverance and work helps me to move and not give up, in the future I hope to go on tour.


How did you decide to embark on your last job?

9CLAWS: I have been working as an engineer for 8 years.



How are you experiencing the music scene in your city with this murky pandemic situation?

9CLAWS: In the city of Surgut, where I live, underground music is not developed.


What are your favorite places to hang out in the city?

9CLAWS: I relax at home with friends and in the studios


Have you had time to focus on making music, spending time with your family, or planning future projects?

9CLAWS: Recently, I have learned how to plan time for relaxation, music and family.


Do you have any final words of wisdom?

9CLAWS: Music is a popular need. Music is the mediator between the life of the mind and the life of the senses.
